libvm-ec2-perl software package provides module providing controls on Amazon EC2 and Eucalyptus, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libvm-ec2-perl
libvm-ec2-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libvm-ec2-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libvm-ec2-perl *
You will get with libvm-ec2-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
